Receptionist/Office Building Management
- Job Description -
Green Desk is committed to providing an excellent working environment for entrepreneurs and small businesses.The Receptionist/Assistant Building Manager shall work with the General Manager to provide excellent service to all the members in the building and insure that all building operations run smoothly. The Assistant Building Manager reports directly to the General Manager and will be in regular communication with the owners of the company.
- Specific Tasks -
Building Management
- Open/close the building each business day:
Tidy coffee corner
Check copiers and fax for paper
Do a building walk through to make sure everything is in order
Straighten up conference rooms
- Manage maintenance and cleaning staff (responsible for overall cleanliness of building)
- Ongoing supply management (make sure there are always sufficient supplies)
- Make purchase requests to General Manager (furniture/equipment needs)
- Manage heating/cooling thermostats (respond to members requests)
Customer Service Management
- Respond to member requests via Customer Service Manager
- Work with sales staff to coordinate office occupancy, move-ins, move-outs and moves within the building
- Oversee office setup for new members and provide orientation / explanation of services and policies
- Respond to evening and weekend member lockouts and other inquiries
- Compensation -
$25K-$35K.
- Hours -
Target hours are Mon - Fri 8:30am to 5:00pm, however because this is a management position it may be necessary to come in earlier, stay later and/or come in on weekends depending on what`s happening in the building. We need someone who is willing to be flexible.
- Experience -
You must have management experience. Building management experience is helpful but is not required if you have other management experience in a related industry such as architecture, construction, restaurant or small business.
- Other -
College degree required.
Positive attitude a must.
Position will have minimal supervision, so must be willing to work diligently on your own, without being asked.
Must be able to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and by email.
Must be able to work efficiently on both Mac and Windows PC.
